Inground Vinyl Liner Pool
Coping and Decking

Versatile, stylish, and easy to customize, inground pool decking and coping are excellent investments that enhance your pool area. Latham’s pool coping and decking options create a warm and inviting atmosphere, transforming your pool from just a swimming space into a central gathering place for everyone to enjoy.

Vinyl Liner Pool Coping

Vinyl Liner Pool CopingPool coping frames the edge of your pool and serves multiple purposes. It provides a decorative border that transitions to your decking, offers a safe edge for swimmers, and covers the aluminum track that holds the vinyl liner.

You can choose from options like cantilevered coping for a seamless finish or curved aluminum forms for a poured concrete solution with a slight overhang to prevent splash-out and provide an edge to hold onto.

Flat Top Mount

These coping profiles will allow stone, brick or pavers to be installed directly to the pool’s edge or protruding over the edge.

Concrete Receptor

An important consideration when planning your pool deck is that a minimum of three feet of decking is often required for any pool. Pool owners often decide to have more, but these three feet are essential because they cover electrical and filter lines that run from the pool to equipment (heater, filter, etc.).

Cantilevered Forms

This coping style uses a Flat Top Mount profile but then foam forms for concrete to be poured into the shape of the edged stone to give a finished appearance on the edge of the pool.

Vinyl Liner Pool Decking

A swimming pool deck is more than just a surface around your pool; it frames the area and enhances the overall aesthetic, making it ideal for gatherings. Most pool builders recommend a minimum width of three feet for decking. It should be made of slip-resistant materials and have a slight slope to facilitate water drainage away from the pool.

Decking serves both a functional and decorative purpose: it provides an attractive border while ensuring water moves away from the pool shell. Your choice of material depends on your desired look and budget.
