Advanced Pool Care contractors add sunshelves to pools
Work with your swimming pool contractor when you’re looking to revamp or add accessories to your family swimming pool. Your contractor is the best first contact when you’re either looking for a remodel or a renovation or to just add in an accessory or two. When you work with a swimming pool contractor from Advanced Pool Care you can rest assured that the accessory you’re considering will be installed with care and expertise and that is true if you are considering the addition of sunshelves.
Sunshelves are a fantastic upgrade for most any swimming pool and is something you can have added in without having to do a complete remodel. A sunshelf can be any size, depth or length that you’d like in your pool, that makes sense, once you talk with your pool contractor.
If you’re considering the addition of sunshelves, here are some things to think about:
- The size. You can choose anything ranging from bench size to those as large as a chaise lounge — or longer! If sunbathing is your thing you may want the shelves to extend the entire length of the pool. If you want the children to be able to play on the shelves, you will want them to be on the wide side.
- The depth. Choose from a depth of little as six inches to as deep as two feet. Remember, the deeper they are, the harder it will be to lounge as your head will be under water.
- Where will they go? Sunshelves are typically placed in the shallow end of the pool. To save space you may want to extend your swimming pool steps. The shelves will typically face the focal point of the pool — if you have a fountain or a waterfall, for example.
Ask your pool contractor about the possibility of the installation of sunshelves in your swimming pool!
