Should you get a diving board? It’s a personal decision for many swimming pool owners. They are fun BUT they bring safety concerns as well. You can have a diving board installed during your pool construction project or as a stand alone install or as part of a pool renovation project. A diving board certainly offers an additional area for fun and excitement, but you need to have additional safety measures.

Should you get a diving board?
Here are some diving board safety tips:
- One person at a time should use the diving board.
- Never dive – or swim – alone.
- Stay out from under the board when someone is using it.
- Know the weight limit of the diving board.
- Jump far enough away from the board that you don’t hit your head.
- Don’t run on the board.
- Don’t dive if the pool is crowded.
- Never dive headfirst.
