Advanced Pools, Inc. serving Memphis, Tennessee explain what a beach entry swimming pool is
The swimming pool builders from Advanced Pools, Inc. work with their customers who are considering a swimming pool project whether a traditional build or a zero entry aka beach entry swimming pool design. Beach entry swimming pools are both beautiful and functional. They have pros and cons — just like any pool project does.
At its most basic a beach entry pool gradually slopes from shallow water into deeper water. Zero entry swimming pools are beautiful and practical. With this pool design it is easy for individuals with limited mobility issues or arthritis to get into the water without having to climb the stairs. A zero entry pool also provides a great place for children to be in the water without having to worry about it being over their heads.
Are there any drawbacks to this pool style? There are a few to consider:
- This pool style will take up additional space in your yard to accommodate the gradual slope of the pool.
- The cost of a zero entry swimming pool will likely be more than the cost of a traditional swimming pool.
- Choosing a zero entry pool design means the pool construction material will be concrete and that brings with it a higher price tag than other building materials. Concrete, however, is one of the longest lasting of the building materials available.
- Having a zero entry pool means that your pool has a more “natural look and feel” and that could also mean that wildlife or the neighbor’s dogs or cats may pay visits to your pool. Using a swimming pool cover can certainly help address the issue of wildlife entering the pool.
